Beat the winter blues

The winter blues, it reminds us of a catchy song that you would sing with your friends around a warm campfire. Unfortunately, the winter blues stands for winter depression. Sadly, many people feel less fit during winter. But no worries, we are going to give you some healthy tips to make this feeling go away!

How about a fruity boost to get out of that winter depression? Our fruit can help you with that. How you ask? Just smell all those delicious perfumes. The grapefruit proves it: their smell has a favourable effect on your emotions and helps you to clash against dullness. That’s why we choose for a mix of grapefruit, kiwi and mango. Together, these fruits will provide all that you need for a fruity and energetic boost. Take for instance the smallest one of the pack, the kiwi. This little fruit bomb contains three times as much vitamin C as a lemon. In addition, kiwis contain a lot of fibre, which is good for your digestion.

Back to the grapefruit; this citrus gives your immune system such a boost, that it will reduce the chance of you getting flaws such as asthma, rheumatism and osteoarthritis.

You would turn happy for less! The mango is also known to provide you with just a wee bit of luck. That’s because mango contains the ‘happiness hormone’ tryptophan and in India, it is said that Buddha has obtained his wisdom under a mango tree. And who looks happier than Buddha?
